Due to the July 4th Holiday Weekend we will not have practice at Middleton from 3:30-5:30pm. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend.

SUMMER PRACTICE STARTS MONDAY, JUNE 8TH AT MIDDLETON HS

We start practice Monday, June 8th at Middleton HS. For the week of June 8th- June 12th all practices will be held at Middleton from 4-5:30pm. Starting Monday, June 15th we will begin training Long Course 50M on Mondays at the UW SERF from 7:00-8:45pm.

MWY WINS THEIR 1ST YMCA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

After a very exciting Y State Meet full of thrilling races the Madison West YMCA brought home their first ever YMCA State Championship. MWY is the first team in 20 years to win the Y State Title aside from the Schroeder YMCA Swim Team. After the first day of the meet on Friday MWY trailed by 138 points. After some great swims on Saturday by the end of the day MWY took the lead over Schroeder by only 27 points. After a great Sunday AM Session by MWY's 10&U swimmers MWY extended its lead to 274 points and didn't look back. After the Sunday 11&Over sessions MWY had a final lead by 244.5 points which was good enough to secure their first ever win!

MWY won Age Group Championships in the 9-10 Girls, 11-12 Boys, 13-14 Girls and 13-14 Boys divisions and won the overall Boys and Girls Championships as well. MWY also had 19 State Champions and set 4 new State records. Congrats to all MWY swimmers and families on an amazing Y State Meet and season.
